IRL visit with Mazz..

Today had a wonderfuly day scrapping with Belinda, Mum and Mazz ( a cyber scrappin'friend) Today we finally got to meet her.. We had a lovely Morning tea with leanne and then scrapped for hours.. Here are a couple of photos and my double I did. I started another layout as well.. Busy chatting and eating.. We also had visits from Jeanette and Tracey...

Bridge's whisper...group 2

WAY back when..well i cant actually remember.. i joined in on Bridges whisper ( there was so much interest she needed to do 2 groups)... i was super excited and was last of group 2....   It was so long since we did the challenge i had actually forgotton the criteria:  we were asked to stay close to the design of the scrapper before them, there was a twist which was
* you can not use any more than 3 flowers ( OMG ) i hear some of you say !! (2)
*You need to use something that you found around the house (something that can not be bought in a scrap shop) ( handmade butterfly and handmade crochet flower)
 and you've probably just came from Kerry and well this is my interpretation of it

MSR - Quick Fire Challenge

The warm up Challenge for my Scrappin' Outback  MSR Comp. Is the Quick fire Challenge.  They thought it would be fun for us all to make an Apron 
so here are the requirements
make an apron either material or paper and use
products from your Scrapbooking stash to embellish your Apron

Remember Dad....Layout by Gilly

Last Month Toowoomba Scrap Apples had a photo swap for one of our monthly challenges.  We were lucky enough to have some awesome visitors to our little group who also participated in our challenges.  I was lucky enough to have Gilly receive my photo of my Dad in his Masonic outfit.  It is the last  photo we have of Dad (that looks good) before he past away nearly 10 years ago.  (Miss you lots Daddy :) )

How lucky am I!!!

I was lucky enough to have received not 1 but 2 layouts completed by two wonderful and talented ladies.  The first Annette fell in love with a photo i had sumbitted to be chosen and scrapped by one of the wonderful design team members of the boxx. 

 And the second i had my photo chosen to be scrapped by Elise from the design team.  The photo was published in this month Boxx newsletter

Bridge's Blog Hop Whisper finally complete..

Bridge's Blog Hop Whisper is now Complete... Yeah, it started way back in June or July..   I am part of group 2..  So if you are visiting me first, then you have missed out on the the first few layouts and will need to start over at Bridge's blog. If you're curious about Group 1, please note that you will also need to start over with Bridge.
Whisper  is where a scrap layout gets passed from person to person and each person takes there own interpretation and scraps it and then passes it on again....and so on..

The weekend

Hi well it is raining here and has been for a couple of days now.  I have done a bit of scrapbooking again this weekend.  Plus had a great night out for Willowburn Ladies Break Up.. HAd a BBq at the coach's house and presented both coach's with gifts and then I went out till 5am.  Very tired this evening.
Today of course is FATHER's DAY.  Kids woke Stuart up with Brunch in bed and presents, before he went off to work.  Watched a few movies with the girls this afternoon, before cleaning up scrap area and desk, before making some spring journal blocks and doing a layout.
This lo I have done as a store challenge all the embellishments were supplied and all we could add was paper/cs/stamps/kindyglitz to make lo.  It is also lo 33 & 34 for bb crop boot camp..

This layout was for Challenge Heaven Themed Challenge.. All about me plus lace or ribbon, also used bb boot camp lo #10

This lo is the colour challenge of brown,red, yellow and cream for Toowoomba Scrap Apples, Lo 20 for boot camp, Scrap your Heart out on the boxx

Well I was able to finish all the challenges for Challenge Heaven again this month.. Here is the last few..

BB started a discussion called "Build a page"  where up to 10 scrapper's take turns at adding a technique or something to a page until we have a page.  We are getting a bit addicted and up to V4 already.  This is the completed V2 layout.
